When to use VRNOW?
Phantom Pain

The patient sees a full body in virtual reality, including a virtual limb that does not physically exist. Such simulation and motor stimulation activate corresponding areas of the brain, helping reduce phantom pain, pain syndrome, and improving movement control after amputation or injuries.

Phantom Pain
Impaired Muscle Control and Strength

VRNOW, as a modern VR trainer, enables patients to restore muscle control and strength through precise motion tracking via sensors, as well as performing exercises with gradually increasing load in a digital environment. This is an effective therapy for restoring musculoskeletal functions.

Impaired Muscle Control and Strength
Pain Syndrome

VRNOW is used to address both acute and chronic pain syndrome by providing sensory stimulation, distraction, and reducing pain perception. This type of VR therapy creates a strong therapeutic effect through gamified simulation and immersion.

Pain Syndrome
Limited Range of Motion

The VR trainer provides controlled movement practice with fixed amplitude, speed, and trajectory. This allows effective work with patients who have mobility limitations after injuries or illnesses.

Limited Range of Motion
Balance Disorders

VRNOW consists of virtual trainers that help restore balance through specialized exercises involving coordination, center-of-mass shifting, and interaction in dynamic digital environments, supporting full recovery.

Alexander
Alexander

“I can say that regular physical exercises are less engaging than using VRNOW. Here you get full immersion, like VR with a treadmill or other modern VR simulators, and the sessions are much more interesting. I felt less fatigue compared to traditional trainers.”

Vladislav
Vladislav

“VRNOW, as VR trainers for learning and recovery, helped me regain control of movements faster and made rehabilitation effective!”

Mykola
Mykola

“After a few sessions with this virtual trainer, I felt the pain decrease. It really helps to fight a condition like phantom pain.”

Maxim
Maxim

“This is a very precise VR trainer. What I like most is that all movements are reproduced in real time, second by second, with no delay — everything is perfectly accurate. I’m sure this trainer works best for phantom pain. Since all my limbs are intact, thankfully, it helps me restore leg mobility after injury.”

Expert Reviews
Vadym Kerestey
"Associate Professor at B.D. Grinchenko University of Kyiv.
Head of Rehabilitation at the ADONIS Clinic"

“Rehabilitation using virtual reality has shown significant effectiveness in patient treatment. By placing patients in various environments, such virtual trainers engage both mind and body, increasing the effectiveness of each session. This level of immersion is key to faster and more efficient recovery.”

Oleg Bilyansky
Head of the UNBROKEN Center

“Patients with amputations often experience not only physical trauma but also prolonged phantom sensations that exhaust them and gradually reduce recovery potential. VRNOW will significantly ease pain and become a new tool in the work of our rehabilitation specialists.”

Horvat Ivan
Head of the Rehabilitation Department of St. Martin's Hospital, neurologist

“The introduction of VR technology enhances the capabilities of our rehabilitation department. It is a modern tool that complements classical therapy and expands the range of care for our patients.”

Natalia Matolinets
Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Anesthesiologist. Honored Doctor of Ukraine

“This is a modern solution combining simulation, movement training, and adaptation of the nervous system to new conditions. It allows patients, even in limited space and with limited resources, to use a special camera reflecting their real-life environment to relearn movements, aiding rehabilitation and helping reconfigure the central nervous system.”

Nikita Zhalnin
Co-founder, Medical Director of the “Path to Health” Rehabilitation Center

“During the use of the VRNOW trainer, we observed a noticeable reduction in phantom pain intensity, especially in patients after lower limb amputations. Patients reported improved sleep, reduced discomfort, and increased emotional stability thanks to such VR simulators. We also see improved muscle activity, reduced acute pain levels, and increased motivation for regular training.”

Lomaga Mykhailo
Physical therapist at St. Martin's Hospital

“I tried VR technology for rehabilitation purposes and was amazed by its potential. I am sure that VRNOW will play a huge role in the rehabilitation of our patients, opening up new opportunities for treatment at a new level”

Vyacheslav Malgin
Director of the Nikopol Children's City Hospital Municipal Enterprise

“This is an effective virtual reality trainer. Using VRNOW allows us to create a comfortable and psychologically safe environment for patients, which is especially important when working with children. Rehabilitation with VRNOW becomes not only effective but also engaging. Based on the results, we recommend VRNOW as a reliable, convenient, and effective rehabilitation tool.”

Alexander Urin
Acting Director General of the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital. Head of the Department of Intensive and Effluent Therapy for Acute Intoxications at Okhmatdyt.

“In children with limb injuries undergoing rehabilitation with VRNOW, we observed significant improvement in muscle strength and a notable reduction in discomfort. VR technologies create a comfortable environment for children, motivating them to actively participate in rehabilitation. Thanks to this innovative approach, VRNOW significantly shortens recovery time and reduces psychological stress, especially in children.”

Ivan Matyas
Physical therapist

“It is usually impossible to conduct mirror therapy for patients, for example, with bilateral amputation when there is no healthy limb. Here, the system virtually recreates legs and arms for the patient.”

Medical certificate

The VRNOW system is not just virtual trainers, but a comprehensive clinical solution for rehabilitation, therapy, and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal disorders, pain syndromes, and consequences of injuries. It is an innovative product in the field of VR trainer development, already actively used in medical institutions.

Frequently asked questions and answers
Is the use of the VRNOW method sufficient for the recovery of patients in neurorehabilitation?
The VR trainer we have created is an additional method of rehabilitation for patients with neurological pathologies and should be used in combination with classical physical therapy, occupational therapy, hardware physiotherapy, and other evidence-based methods.
Are there any age restrictions for using VRNOW?
The VRNOW system adapts to different age groups — from children aged 10 to elderly patients. The programs have different levels of complexity and intensity, allowing you to work safely with each user. Restrictions are determined individually, depending on the patient's health condition.
What are the indications for using the VR trainer?
VRNOW is used for rehabilitation after stroke, traumatic brain and spinal injuries, amputations, coordination disorders, phantom pain, or post-traumatic stress disorder. The trainer promotes the restoration of mobility, pain reduction, and improved motivation to exercise. It also helps accelerate neuroplasticity and adaptation after injuries.
What will I get if I purchase VRNOW?
You will receive a complete VR rehabilitation system: a VR headset, software, a set of therapeutic scenarios, staff training and technical support, and quarterly updates. This is a ready-made solution that can be immediately implemented in a center or hospital.
What are the contraindications for using the VR trainer?
It is not recommended to use VRNOW in cases of epilepsy, severe mental disorders, acute inflammatory conditions, or serious visual and balance impairments. It is also not recommended for use during periods of exacerbation of the disease. The final decision on admission to VR therapy is made by a rehabilitation physician after a medical examination.
