Speka reports that after six months of using the VRNOW VR trainer in Ukrainian clinics, there has been a significant reduction in pain and improvement in patients’ motor activity. At the Shlyakh do Zdorovya clinic, pain levels decreased by an average of 40%, and mobility increased by 25%.
VRNOW is also used in pediatric rehabilitation: at the Nikopol Hospital, a 17-year-old patient significantly strengthened her muscles and almost got rid of pain after just two weeks of training.
Despite the successes, experts emphasize the need for further research, training, and changes in legislation. VR therapy shows the potential to become the new standard of medical rehabilitation in Ukraine.
